I try to link to new articles on the blog, so the recent stuff can be found there. These stories below are a decent reflection of my writing. Most of my pieces are in Popular Science, but I've also written for The Atlantic Monthly, Wired, Scientific American, Discover, National Geographic Adventure, Women's Health, Boston, and the Boston Globe.

One of my articles, about Hollywood science consultant John Underkoffler, was featured in the 2007 edition of The Best American Science Writing. Another one, which focused on brain implants, received an honorable mention in a 2008 collection. Here are a few other personal favorites:
